| Student Government Student (senior class) elected student council and Class President and Vice President. Members contribute to planning and executing student events and school activities. Fall Dance Students plan event, print and distribute dance tickets and decorate IS 318 cafeteria. Valentine’s Day Dance Students plan event, print and distribute dance tickets and decorate IS 318 cafeteria. Spring Dance Students plan event, print and distribute dance tickets and decorate IS 318 cafeteria. Sixth Grade Field Day Sixth grade classes stay on IS 318 grounds participating in outdoor games, softball, Soccer etc, and or participate in indoor games and watch movies in the auditorium. Seventh Grade Field Day Seventh grade classes travel by school bus to off campus playing field to participating in outdoor games such as softball, soccer etc. Eighth Grade Field Day Eighth grade seniors travel by carter bus to Six Flags Great Adventure amusement park. The ticket cost is covered by their senior dues. Gymnasia Week Teams of students compete against each other in various games. Students and Faculty also compete against each other in volley ball, soft ball and basket ball. Senior Prom Eighth grade seniors celebrate the end of their IS 318 experience with an afternoon of dancing and socializing at a rented catering hall. The ticket cost is covered by their senior dues. |
